The California Association of Health Facilities established a Legacy Partner program in 2019 to acknowledge the efforts of Associate members who have made lasting, significant and transformational contributions to CAHF.

HPSI Purchasing Services has been named CAHF’s inaugural Legacy Partner.

HPSI was selected as CAHF’s first Legacy Partner in recognition of a successful, mutually beneficial decades-long relationship.

For more than 37 years, since 1983, HPSI has been a participant in CAHF’s Preferred Provider Program – a revenue sharing arrangement that benefits CAHF as a not-for-profit association as well as its members which have access to HPSI’s group purchasing power.

HPSI’s group purchasing program is designed to save providers money and time with hundreds of pre-negotiated contracts on a wide range of services used by healthcare facilities including dietary, medical, housekeeping and more.

HPSI’s Vice President of National Accounts, Dick MacFarlane (pictured left) joined HPSI in 1999 and has helped countless CAHF members with their purchasing needs. In 2019, he was recognized as the first Associate member to receive the prestigious Thomas E. Spindle Award, CAHF’s highest honor.
